No. Customers scan a QR code with their phone camera and a web page opens — no app, no account, no password. They enter their name and mobile number and land on a page that shows their queue position plus a live chat with you. Everything happens in their browser.
Yes — chat between you and your customers is unlimited on every plan, including Basic. We never charge per chat message. The only time you use your SMS quota is when we text a customer to let them know you've replied (and we only do that when they're not actively looking at their chat page).
SMS is included in your plan price — no per-message billing. Basic includes 300 SMS/month, Growth includes 800, Pro includes 1,500. Need more? You can buy one-time top-up bundles from your billing settings. Messages are sent via an Australian gateway so delivery is fast and reliable.
If you send them a chat message while they're offline, they get one SMS with a link back to the chat. They tap the link, the chat picks up exactly where it left off — nothing is lost. Think of it like a walkie-talkie: when both sides are holding it, talk is free; when your customer puts theirs down, we tap them on the shoulder.
Under 5 minutes. Sign up, enter your business name, name your queue, and you get a QR code. Print it or put it on a tablet at your counter and you're live.
Yes. Growth supports 3 queues per location, Pro supports unlimited queues across multiple locations. Each queue has its own QR code, URL, and live dashboard view.
All customer data is stored in Australia (AWS Sydney, ap-southeast-2). We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 2024. Customer data never leaves Australian jurisdiction.
Yes — no lock-in contracts. Cancel from your billing settings at any time. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation so you can export it if needed.
They can reply LEAVE to any SMS and they're automatically removed. Operators can also remove any entry from the dashboard with one tap.
Yes — Appointments is a $39 AUD/month add-on that can be enabled on any base plan (Basic, Growth, or Pro). Customers book a service at a time slot from a public booking page; they get an email confirmation, an automatic reminder 24 hours out, and a link to self-cancel or reschedule. You manage it from a Day/Week calendar in the dashboard, or create bookings manually for phone customers. Stripe Connect for deposits and full payments at booking is included with the add-on.
Yes — Stripe Connect is included with the Appointments add-on ($39 AUD/month on top of any base plan). Connect your Stripe account once in settings, then mark services to require a deposit or full payment. Stripe pays you directly; ServQueue never touches the money.
Xero and MYOB integrations are on the roadmap for Phase 2 (mid-2026). Right now ServQueue is focused on doing the customer service journey — from check-in to completion — exceptionally well.
